Inspiration _ Being John Malkovich

John Malkovich enters a tunnel that leads to his brain. Being inside of his own head he sees a world of John Malkovich. Every people look like John Malkovich, talk John Malkovich, sing John Malkovich, everything written on the menu is also John Malkovich.

Is it really clever to be another person? Everyone might have thought about becoming someone like rich, famous or beautiful. But just having the appearance isn't going to change who you really are. Seeing the world in other people's eye would be an interesting experience. However you shouldn't become obsessed with it, otherwise you will lose your real identity.

Inspiration _ Being John Malkovich

Orientation for the 7 1/2 floor. Lester Corp is located on the 7 1/2 floor of  Mertin Flemmer building which has a very low ceiling, only about four feet high. Entering this place gives me the feeling of entering to another world.

About Me...

I'm an idealist or a coward. I like dreaming of fantasy and something that can hardly happen in real world. There are too much things to concern and worry about in real world....so I usually escape to my imagination. Just hoping when I am out of my daydream everything will be sorted out....I only want happy thing to happen...that's me...

About my previous work.

I have finished bachelor of science in interior design in Korea. Most of my works were focused on the concept and architecture part and didn't have many chance to do a real interior design. Also since I had to follow the certain method or structure of my school curriculum suggested, I wasn't able to do an experimental work. So I would like to do kind of experimental work rather than a work that emphasizes practical function. Also I want to find my own style and what kind of designer I am...so I will start studying from identity and I would like to present my work as installtion art in the final because I think installation art is effective way to show my imagination with few restrictions.
